Just a daft query really caused by looking at the display too much! If the car is put away at night with a full Battery ie 8 bars, when it's started next morning it shows 8 bars. However over the first 2 or 3 miles the charge falls away very rapidly , the engine runs to charge the Battery and it's quite a while before it settles down to keep around 8 bars average. I don't think for a minute there's any problem as car is nearly new and behaves perfectly, but I'm just interested to know what's happening to the charge particularly in the first mile or so. It's almost always put away with afull Battery as I go downhill steeply for the last mile home
